Important: All this data is stored exclusively on your Mac. We do not transmit, upload, or access this data remotely.

• Browsing history beyond domain-level tracking for specified sites

How We Use Your Information

The data collected by Aware+ is used solely to:

• Display your current session timer in the menu bar
• Track your daily social media usage against your personal limits

All processing happens locally on your device. No data leaves your Mac.

Third-Party Services

App Store and Payment Processing

Aware+ uses Apple's App Store for distribution and in-app purchases. When you subscribe to Aware+:

• Payment and subscription data is handled entirely by Apple
• We receive no personal financial information
• Apple's privacy policy governs subscription data

No Other Third Parties

Aware+ does not integrate with any other third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

Your Rights and Choices

Data Control

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

• Access: View your statistics anytime through the app's statistics window
• Delete: Uninstall the app to remove all local data, or use the app's reset feature
• Export: Your data remains on your device and can be backed up through macOS Time Machine

Permissions

Aware+ requires the following macOS permissions to function:

• Screen Recording Permission: To detect which websites you're visiting (domain-level only)
• Accessibility Permission: To monitor active browser tabs and windows

You can revoke these permissions at any time through System Settings > Privacy & Security, though the app will stop functioning without them.

Children's Privacy

Aware+ is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. The app operates entirely locally and does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
